Thank You, Rohan Garg, for reporting this bug and help making Ubuntu Better.
please run the following in your terminal:
cat proc/bus/input/devices > ~/devices
dmesg > ~/dmesg

and attach the "devices" and "dmesg" files from your home directory to this report.
you can also run: synclient -l   to check if the driver loaded
