[Bug 712149] Re: package xserver-xorg-core 2:1.9.99.901 git20110131.be3be758-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: installing xserver-xorg-core would break existing software
This is not a bug; this is the dependency system working as designed.
The version of fglrx available from the archive (or, in fact, anywhere)
does not work with the new xserver. Attempting to install fglrx with
the new xserver would result in an unusable X.
fglrx will become installable again once a new release which supports
Xserver 1.10 is available.
