Right, you have -nvidia installed and there is no compatible -nvidia
driver for the new X server yet. So the error is right and proper for
you - if you need to use -nvidia stick with the older X. If you really
need to run the newer X or just want to be fully up to date on natty,
you'll need to uninstall nvidia and use the nouveau driver until we get
an updated driver.

-nvidia broken after Jan 31st updates, because it does not yet support xserver 1.10
