You can fix it temporarily by commenting out the calls to find_task_by_*
in /usr/src/fglrx-8.620/firegl_public.c and replacing them with a 0,
then use dkms to recompile/install the module. It probably breaks
something in horrible ways, but at least you'll be able to use X again.
