[Bug 680821] Re: Display port monitor works only if plugged in at startup
I have HP 8440p and HP LP2475w display which has native DisplayPort.
Display is automatically detected and desktop extended every time I plug
display in with DP cable and it doesn't need to be connected at boot.
Ubuntu 10.10
2.6.35-22-generic x86_64
xserver-xorg-video-intel Version: 2:2.12.0-1ubuntu5.1
So I have x86_64 version instead of i686 but otherwise identical setup.
