I have tested a daily build.
After booting from it I have everything working as expected, so as Chase has stated, my problems may come from package inconsistency (installing then removing from many ppa, etc.)

The only valid problem is the duplicate devices in /dev/input
(>8 devices with the same name)
And Henrik is working on this one and has already sent an upstream patch.


I'm marking this bug #724342 as invalid.
