Well apparently this was due to a bug recently found a solution

to apply the patch found here
http://www.openchrome.org/trac/ticket/400#comment:6  solves the problem.

to apply the patch we need to download the svn and the patch

with the following commands:

svn checkout http://svn.openchrome.org/svn/trunk openchrome

cd openchrome*

patch -p0 < /home/demon/Descargas/patch

sudo bash ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --enable-debug --enable-xv-debug

sudo make

sudo make install
