I've uploaded a new version of evdev to ppa:utouch-team/unstable. The
package fixes things for the device recording. Please test it out and
report success or issues here. After you are done testing, you can
remove the ppa with ppa-purge.

Note that it's not done building in the ppa yet, be patient :).
