[Bug 737807] [NEW] Unable to select native resolution on vga-connected videoprojetor

Ubuntu 10.10, Maverick Meerkat

Setup: Videoprojector (Optoma HD20) connected via vga-cable as external
display on pc (lenovo thinkpad r61).

Problem: Native mode is not displayed/available for selection in
"monitor preferences"

Only allows for maximum 1360x768, instead of native resolution of
1980x1020

** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
