According to upstream, this is a bug in xorg-server (
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34427 )

I tried the proposed patch (
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=43859 ) and it fixed this
bug for me.
