Yes, I have flashblock installed, but the sites I was visiting (eg
youtube) are in the whitelist.

In Maverick I installed both 260.19.44 and 270.30 from nvidia.com.

In Natty I used nvidia-current and this installed 270.30.

flash crashes with 270.30 installed, whether via nvidia-current or from
nvidia.

What do you mean by 'installing outside of the package manager breaks
GL'?
