[Bug 34043] Re: Nvidia binary driver requires Option "NvAGP" "1" for reliable suspend/resume
I have a fresh install of 10.10 (64-bit) and am getting the same issue. I haven't tried the fix above but I am not using AGP.
Nvidia Gefore 210 (pic-e)
Samsung Syncmaster 171t (oldie but a goodie) via DVI
Gateway GT5404 with 4 GB ram (http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/1009371/1009371sp3.shtml)
The only fix for me so far in order to get the monitor to come back is
to turn everything off. Unplug the power to the monitor and CPU. Wait
30 mins. Plug in and reboot.
