Message #118015
[Bug 293012] Re: glxinfo badRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
I posted this error elsewhere not realising it already had a big thread
of reported problems already.
I too am on up to date ubuntu 10.04, but I'm not using radeon, I've got
an intel chipset.
:~/work/crack-attack-1.1.14> crack-attack -X -1
Crack Attack! v1.1.14
X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 153 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 181 ()
Serial number of failed request: 47
Current serial number in output stream: 49
lspci:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)
I've got load "glx", load "dri" and load "dri2" in my xorg.conf and I've just run glxinfo and it says
"direct rendering: no"
so how do I fix this? get X working with 3D accelleration?
It's not as if it's a NEW chipset. The thing worked fine back in hardy. Jaunty caused problems with lockups and now it won't work with any GL apps at all!
