I temporarily solved my problem (Intel 865G) by installing the latest
Intel graphics driver from xorg-edgers PPA at: https://launchpad.net
/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa

I just installed the package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
2:2.14.902+git20110408.97e95576-0ubuntu0sarvatt
