Interesting; I wonder if there could in fact be a bug in the theme
itself which triggers the graphical out-of-memory situation.

Would you mind collecting the output of 'ps aux' once with the
clearlooks theme, and once with the ambiance theme (prior to the crash);
I can then diff those two lists and see if there happens to be an out-
of-control process with the latter, that could be triggering this crash.
