[Bug 401505] Re: screen not clear with jaunty, ati card and LSL 3230T screen
** Attachment added: "lspci-vvnn.txt"
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/29261061/lspci-vvnn.txt
** Summary changed:
- screen not clear with jaunty, ati card and LSL 3230T screen
+ screen not clear with jaunty, ati card and LSL 3230T monitor
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: xorg
- I'm using up-to-date Jaunty. I have Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo LSL 3230T 23" screen connected to a HP nw8440 laptop via VGA cable. The resolution is correctly set to 1920x1080 and the screen is identified as FUS 23" but the image quality of the screen is not perfect. I would describe it as small horizontal waves are running from the top of the screen to the bottom.
- I do not have this problem if I boot Vista on the laptop, the screen is perfect. Also there is no problem if I connect the screen to another Jaunty box with an nvidia card.

I will try to take a picture of the screen if needed. I'm trying to attach everything useful to this report.
