7-after a left click at trash can icon position-trash attempts opening-
momentary window display leaves display black areas-IMG_4913.JPG

 a left click in the area of where the trash can is expected to be leads
to a fleeting display of a window, supposedly trash, and then the lower
panel 'opening' item is seen.

subsequent clicks on the panel 'opening' bar produce momentary windows
and trailing corruption.
