I upgraded from a FRESH install of Intrepid (8.0)  to Jaunty (9.4 )
because the SCREEN would mess up as I moved my mouse and open and close
windows or programs ( firefox or Network Tools for example ) Thinking
this would go away.


It is much worse in Jaunty (9.4 ) compared to Intrepid (8.0).
I am NEW to Linux/Ubuntu ( using it on 2 laptops) the laptop with the problem is a DELL Latitude C400.
