[Bug 400920] Re: [i945] Displacement between Blender render window and content.

When you use the xorg-edgers PPA, it's usually best get all the packages
since there may be dependencies. For example, some fixes may need
updated libdrm2 and libdrm-intel1. Before, the way to test this with a
LiveCD was to use the script that automatically upgrades all packages
(see "Testing with a live CD/media" on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/XorgOnTheEdge). However, now it is even easier
as there is a LiveCD image with the packages already installed:
http://sarvatt.com/downloads/xorg-edgers-0.16-i386.iso (it is currently
a little behind, being updated July 7th).

I also checked the blender website, and it seems they don't care too much about intel graphics. On the downloads page (http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/) it says:
Users with Intel on-board graphics: some graphics operations (menus or border select) don't show due to driver bug.
Also, all developers have Nvidia or ATI graphics. http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:Ref/Supported_platforms
