[Bug 401820] [NEW] Open Office 3.1 screen redraws are messy
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
I'm getting messy screen redraws on Open Office writer 3.1. Characters
shift out of place, paragraphs go out of alignment, deleted words remain
on the screen, etc. It happens when I scroll, and also when I delete
words and characters. When I minimize then restore the window, the
screen is accurate.
I had this problem occasionally with previous versions of OO, but with
3.1 it's particularly bad. Since OO 3.0, I have upgraded my video card
driver from Nvidia 184.44 to 185.18.14. In other words, with OO 3.0 and
Nvidia 184.44 I had occasional problems, with OO 3.1 and Nvidia
185.18.14 I'm having frequent problems.
Might be a video driver problem, but I don't think I've had trouble with
any other program but Open Office.
Any thoughts?
