[Bug 776543] Re: Xorg seg fault

 

I am not sure if I made it clear, but the X server does not launch, at
all... When I have fglrx installed and I have X configured to use the
fglrx driver, I can only get a text console. If I type those commands
into the console, I only get "Cannot open display."

With X configured to use the radeon driver, and fglrx "purged" (using
`dpkg --purge`), I can get into X. So, using the radeon driver, the
output of those commands is as follows -
