is this supposed to allow me to use nouveau driver without letting it interfere with suspend?
the instructions in the site you mentioned seem difficult and besides i dont have the option to install the nouveau driver in Jocky anyomre.
 i think i'll stick to the nvidia driver for now.
(although i am suffering from another bug there too -https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/753144).
