2011-05-16: dmesg shows thousands of messages like these:

[ 5618.630977] [drm:i915_do_wait_request] *ERROR* i915_do_wait_request returns -5 (awaiting 410954 at 405881)

once a day (sometimes twice a day).
A gdm restart is not sufficient. I have to reboot the machine.
Console login (via ssh) works ok.
The machine is fully updated.
