[Bug 770559] Re: Ubuntu fails to boot with nVidia proprietary driver

 

same problem for me.
the system doesn't start after installing nvidia proprietary driver with jockey (no extra ppa enabled).
I've deleted the splash parameter from grub boot record and when the kernel boot up services, I've this error:

"loca fallback graphics devices    [failed]"
