Message #129573
[Bug 751584] Re: package nvidia-173 173.14.28-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
I do not know how to check my system for a non-empty /var/log/apt/term.log, whatever that means.
I just now figured out how to respond to your messages.
I also do not know how to boot into natty
and run the command:
apport-collect <bug-number>
As I said, I am very experienced with DOS and Windows, but I am new to
Linux.
I was put into the reporting system automatically and just filled in the
blanks. I do not know how to reproduce the problem. I assume that I
would have to start from scratch and re-create the flash drive OS again.
At this point I do not remember how it was done.
I guess just forget it.
I am going to try openSuSE.
