Heya Bruce,

Good to hear you're no longer seeing the crashes.  Yeah, the -intel in
Karmic solves a whole mess of problems that plagued Jaunty.  I think we
can safely consider the bug fixed now.  If you need this issue solved in
Jaunty, we *might* be able to backport a patch if you can collect a full
backtrace, however so much of the architecture changed from jaunty to
karmic that backports have tended to be prohibitively difficult.  If
running with the ppa version solves it, that may be our best solution.
