DajomU, a lot of these kind of problems seem very similar and have the
same symptoms but are actually different unrelated bugs.  It would be
best if you reported your issue in a separate report so we can focus
this report on Rahul's issue; see http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Reporting.
