[Bug 621324] Re: package nvidia-current 195.36.24-0ubuntu1~10.04 failed to install/upgrade: nvidia-current kernel module failed to build
Thanks for your bug report and for your contribution to Ubuntu. This bug
report has been found to not be a bug, but simply due to your customized
kernel. Please use an Ubuntu-supplied kernel if possible. Otherwise,
please reconfigure your kernel as described in DKMSBuildLog.txt to be
compatible with nvidia-current:
Your kernel was configured to include rivafb support!
The rivafb driver conflicts with the NVIDIA driver, please
reconfigure your kernel and *disable* rivafb support, then
try installing the NVIDIA kernel module again.
*** Failed rivafb sanity check. Bailing out! ***
** Changed in: nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid
