I'd like to try out this patch. My kernel version is 2.6.38-8-generic
and I'm running an x64 system.

I assume I need your linux-headers-*_amd64.deb and linux-
image-*_amd64.deb files. How do I install them , and do I need to do
anything with the .patch file?
