John Linn, I believe your issue has been fixed meanwhile. If not, make
sure you have enabled Recommended Updates (maverick-updates) or upgrade
to natty.

For everybody, if there are any remaining issues with the savage cards,
make sure you file bugs using "ubuntu-bug xserver-xorg-video-savage".
