[Bug 734798] Re: nvidia-current gifs no video in videoplayers
Exact same problem here : Ubuntu 11.04 unity, Graphics card GeForce 8400
GS, nvidia-driver-173
By accident, I found that by running NVIDIA Xserver setting, right click
on the NVIDIA icon on unity menu bar, and mark it as "Always show" is
enough to have the same effect as running the same program from system
setting. This is only a workround, but in effect, I can watch videos
immediately after login without running the xserver setting thing.
