Hello,

This bug affects me too on Karmic Alpha3 (x86_64).
It worked one week before I think (on Karmic Alpha2).

I don't know if it's a bug on xserver-xorg-input-synaptics because all is ok when I login on the GDM.
So I confirm what it's reported there https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gsynaptics/+bug/405966 but I havn't install gsynaptics !

The installation of this package "xserver-xorg-input-synaptics -
1.1.2-1ubuntu1~wgrant1" doesn't resolve the bug.
