You need to report test results for the upstream packages to upstream.
We do the packaging of the upstream trees to help people needing to test
for fixes against what we're carrying in Ubuntu, but we don't really do
development ourselves on the upstream code itself.
Probably you want to join the xorg-devel@ list and report there.
