Upgraded a Samsung R510 from 10.10 to 11.04. Now Open Office shows the
described behavior (corrupted screen and really bad responsiveness). To
note that this Laptop uses a Nvidia 9200M GS. However this Problem is
independent of the system state (sleep and resume) and occurs all the
time. So as I understand the only workaround is to switch to ubuntu
classic (without effects) because of the dist-upgrade?
