Massimo, I have just remembered that this also happened with some older
releases of Ubuntu, I can't remember exactly what release (Lucid or Karmic)
but I'm definetly sure that it hanged. As a matter of fact this week I was
able to update my ubuntu distro (Jaunty) because I found how to fix the
problem in a forum.
