[Bug 405533] Re: HAL Fails: (EE) config/hal: couldn't initialise context: (null) ((null))

 

Yeah, that'show I logged in when I got this error from a "root shell
with networking".

But when I boot normally, there is no network, so SSH doesn't work. I
can't even ping the machine. The desktop "appears" normally, but with
the "Failed to load HAL" (I think, not sure of the phrasing) error
message.

Is there anything in any log file that could help?
