[Bug 797403] Re: Xinerama with Nvidia-settings don't work since Natty
The same happened to me. I solved it by installing driver version 275.19
from ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates and running
gconftool --type string --set
/desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager metacity
for every user. I don't know if the ppa driver is necessary, you may try
the gconftool command alone first. I also don't know why the gconftool
command fixes the problem. I observed the problem didn't occur with
settings from an old account and a lot of trial and error showed that
this gconf setting makes the difference.
