I am having the same issue where, at times, I can see the background
behind gnome-panel. Using Ubuntu Classic (No Effects) on 11.04.

My video card is a:
Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:27ae] (rev 03)

Could you provide apport information for this bug. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect BUGNUMBER
