The bug occured now. I have completely updated my ubuntu. This was
partial distribution update. Still there is a bug.

Another problem the $sudo halt
is not working it shows ubuntu shutdown screen and stops there it
never power off my laptop.
I used the reboot system call to write a small asm code with power off
as parameter to it.
This program power off my machine but i worry that it wont take care
of disks etc...
Please help...
Does the lockup happens at halt or shutdown process?
