Just happened again, screen freezes for 1-2 seconds then goes black.  All keyboards and mouse actions don't work, including RESIUB.
Connected Android phone which did not recognise USB port (other than charge).  As soon as machine was powered off and POSTed it found a computer.  Suggests this is a kernel bug...
