  Since some time the X11 has become unstable on one of my machines.
  I'm getting after a short or longer time a X11 crash with signal 11.
  
  The problem is reproducible if I'm use the "recovery console" in gdm and
  start in the xterm xemacs.

+ To work around this problem I have tried to move from nvidia-current (natty and oneiric) to nouveau.
+ This hasn't solved the problem.
