[Bug 835469] [NEW] Swiss German keyboard bugs

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Hi

I have Ubuntu 11.04 running on my IBM T42 with Swiss German keyboard
(http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/4f/KB_Swiss.svg
/400px-KB_Swiss.svg.png).

I have two bugs to report.

========== 1 ============
NOW:
grave accent (SHIFT + 1st key left of Backspace) + vowel = a`, e`, i`, o`, u`

acute accent (Alt Gr + 2nd key left of Backspace) + vowel = a´, e´, i´,
o´, u´

PLEASE:
grave accent (as above)+ vowel = CHR(133), CHR(138), CHR(141), CHR(149), CHR(151)

acute accent (as above)+ vowel = CHR(160), CHR(130), CHR(161), CHR(162),
CHR(163)

========== 2 ============
With Alt Gr + 1 and Alt Gr + 7 I get a solid vertical bar in both cases. The broken bar on my keyboard is on Alt Gr + 7. I have seen that Dell have the bars' positions reversed. FYI, my HP EliteBook 8440p has the broken bar on 7 too.

Would you be able to reflect this layout by adding a keyboard item "IBM
T/R/G40 series"?

Thanks and regards

Domenico
