antistress, can you report on the upstream bug if you still see the
issue when running the 2.6.31 kernel?

Yes, my guess is Oliver is having an unrelated bug that just happens to
have similar symptoms, although since he didn't provide any data about
his system it's impossible to say.  We're only going to focus on Intel
graphics with this bug report.
