[Bug 831960] Re: Touchpad not working

The evtest command does not do anything from within X or from a VT.

When called without redirecting the output it lists a number of event
codes before bringing up the testing ... (interrupt to exit) message,
trying various operations of the buttons and scrolling of the touchpad
does not generate an output from the tool.
