Message #138345
[Bug 840704] [NEW] atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xaa on isa0060/serio0) on Ubuntu 11.04
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
My touchpad doesn't respond at all, and my keyboard doesn't respond until I press the menu-key, I've tried to do clean installs of Ubuntu again on my laptop, but even during the setup, it wouldn't work. It just started happening recently - it used to work up until yesterday.
As far as I know - Ubuntu isn't showing me that I even have hotkey-setup installed, so when I tried to use
sudo /etc/init.d/hotkey-setup stop
then tried to use:
sudo apt-get install rcconf
sudo update-rcconf-guide
sudo rcconf
there wasn't even a file for it listed in /etc/init.d/
I'm running Ubuntu Natty 32bit - on a CQ60-200z
