[Bug 840704] Re: atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xaa on isa0060/serio0) on Ubuntu 11.04

 

Ok, this is almost certainly a problem caused by faulty hardware, as
this problem does not seem to affect other computers of the same model
from research I have done, and it should be possible for you to access
the BIOS with the internal keyboard on any working laptop.

It also appears that your touchpad input is being read as keyboard
input, from the videos you uploaded, which further indicates that it is
likely to be faulty.

I'm very sorry, but as this bug seems to be isolated to only your
particular hardware and not related to software, I will have to mark it
as invalid; your best bet as to getting it fixed is to contact your
manufacturer or a computer repair shop, alternatively you may be able to
fix it yourself by replacing the faulty components, but it could be
costly for the parts.
