[Bug 404528] [NEW] karmic alpha 3 flashing and echoing screen

Hi,
A very annoying bug in karmic alpha 3: the screen is flashing and echoing itself in some 'screen circumstances'. For example:
- clicking on the Wireless icon in the right upper screen; as soon as the WLAN-drop-down appears, the screen starts flashing & echoing itself
- in a normal web screen, as soon as new info is feched, the screen is flashing & echoing
- moving the mouse causes flashes & echoes.
- sliding the slider in the window I'm typing this in and the Firefox slider, causes flashes & echoes.
- pressing ENTER in this window causes "screen shivers"
OS: Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Alpha 3
HW: laptop with all Intel hardware (Intel GPU)
Older Ubuntu versions work OK.
