** Description changed:

  The touchpad on my Dell XPS 1530 keeps breaking.  This happens on a
- random basis at least two times a day.  By "breaking", I mean I am
- unable to move the mouse cursor with the touchpad.  However, if I plug
- in an external USB mouse, the cursor can be moved and used as normal.
- If I then unplug the mouse, the touchpad is still broken.  I can get the
