[Bug 859455] Re: Touchpad random breakage
I don't use gestures or 2-finger scrolling; my touchpad doesn't have
those capabilities. It seems to happen randomly, although it's usually
within the first few minutes of a new boot. I then have to log out,
using ctrl+alt+delete, and then back in. This gets the touchpad
working, and it never seems to fail again for the whole day. But the
next day, the same thing happens.
I tried to run evtest as above, but I don't quite understand how to use
it. Do I enter the whole command as above, or should the eventX part be
replaced by something else?
