Many users will find that something is going wrong with the touchpad, more end users. Imagine how many requests for help from lay people in the forum users asking "How do I enable the click with the touchpad." And another, sure most people click with the touchpad.
Finally is always good to leave office rather than the less functions, although this function is more widely used and function, even if the user stumbles at times the touchpad and click unintentionally.
